Marketing and Business Develpment Coordinator

The purpose of this position is to consistently fill the advisors schedule with qualified appointments. This is achieved by implementing various pre-determined marketing strategies, such as appointment setting, event coordination, seminar management, consistent prospect/client mailing such as monthly newsletters and weekly emails, calendar management, prospect follow-up and tracking the effectiveness of each marketing strategy.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
Set appointments and fill revenue days
Call, schedule and follow-up with prospects for appointments from seminars and events, record notes from conversation in database and mail first appointment letter upon scheduling.
Call and schedule qualified clients for annual review meetings and Mail confirmation letter upon scheduling
Input prospects and keep database/CRM program up-to-date
Manage advisor's calendar regarding appointment rescheduling
Input notes to database/CRM of phone calls made and appointments set
Track client referrals
Prepare, plan, schedule, participate and follow-up on client events and seminars
Manage and prepare weekly email campaign to clients & prospects
Assist with the implementation and follow-through on new marketing ideas
Review Marketing Focus with team during staff meeting
Assist advisor with tracking A+ Prospects
Manage and record all R.S.V.P.s to upcoming events, workshops & seminars
Call all event attendees upon receipt of attendance, the day before the event and the day after the event
Create monthly accountability report illustrating number of contacts made, appointments set, and appointments kept.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to motivate prospects to set appointments
Past experience managing large projects or events and marketing a company to the public
Ability to prioritize projects and manage time
Attention to detail and accuracy
Results driven, demonstrates persistence to achieve quality
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Proficient phone skills
Working knowledge of computers and software and the ability to multi-task
Ability to learn new software quickly
Desire to build relationships with people

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
