This position performs release of PHI (Protected Health Information) and electronic medical record organization.
Associates in this role foster patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of this role.
This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills to always assure accuracy of the electronic record.
This position promotes positive customer relations through prompt and courteous service in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires confidence and organization to provide ongoing education to staff and clients who rely on our technology to provide exceptional care.
This individual would be identified as the IT Champion.
Essential Job Functions Establish and Maintain Electronic Health Record Reports Directly to the Nursing Home Administrator Build and provide educational seminars to assure EHR compliance for new and existing staff Acts as EHR resource for staff Organize and maintain the Medical Records office Process all EHR requests and monitors/manages incoming requests Support Hospital Systems and Physicians who rely on us for patient information Maintain compliance with federal and facility policy General Office Duties Qualities of this Candidate Fast Learner, Dependable, Team Player Ability to teach and train staff and clients General understanding of Medical Technology Strong analytical and organizational skills Clear and concise communication skills Minimum Requirements Certificate or degree from college or technical school or 12 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience within Electronic Health record Implementation and management.
